Most korean tourists have heard anout the tipping culture in the United States,

But it can still be a bit confusing when you go out to eat,

especially for the first-timers. So,here are a few tips-pun intended!

 

Tipping 15~25percent of the total bill is expected at most restaurants,

or those with table service.

Many servers will often go the extra mile to ensure their customers recieve excellent service,

usually resulting in higher tips.

 

This includers recommending items on teh menu, refilling drinks, and asking if the food is up to standards.It is also common for servers to strike up a frendly conversation with their customers.Tips for servers ar buffet restaurants, where most of the service is limited to table clearing, are generally lawer.

Tipping is not necessary when you order fast food, such as burgers and tacos.

Some fast food restaurants, however, have tip jars on their counters.

On the other hand, ordering food for delivery, like pizza, always calls for a tip.

In fact, pizza delivery dirvers expect at least 10 percent from their customers, and some will ask for a higher tip if they feel they did not receive enough.
