A long time ago,

There lived a little prince. His name was Wonjung.

At that time, Chosun Dynasty used Chinese letters.

There were no letters in Chosun.

One day, Prince Wonjong thought deeply.

Then he said, "Why can't we have our own letters?"

He was sad because there were no Chosun letters.

Later on, Prince Wonjung became the King Sejong.

He said to himself,

"I should make our own letters. Then we can learn and write easily!"

The scholars were reserching for the new letters at Chiphyonjon.

They studied hard until late at night.

They didn't even care for their health.

One night, The King Sejong visited the scholars.

Ine of scholars was studying hard.

He took off his own clothes.

The scolar was moved to tears.

Finally, in December of 1443,

The King Sejong made twenty-eight letters of Hangeul.

The King Sejong loved his people.

He treated everyone evenly.

People admired the King Sejong's works.

Therefore, people called him the Great King Sejong.

He became the most respectable king in history.
