I wish I could fly like a bird. 새처럼 하늘을 날고 싶어요

 

I wish I could Fly. 나는 날 수 있기를 바랍니다.

It would be so much fun to fly just like a bird. 새처럼 나는 건 정말 재미있을 거예요.

People like things that are fast. 사람들은 빠른 것들을 좋아하죠.

They like fast rides at Everland or Fast vehicles. 에버랜드의 놀이기구나, 빠른 자동차 같은거요.

But if I could Fly, it would be much more exciting. 하지만 내가 날 수 있다면 훨씬 더 신날거예요.

 

There are many things on the ground like cars, Buses, and people.

땅 위에는 승용차, 버스, 사람들과 같은 많은 것들이 있죠.

But there is lots of space and open air in the sky, so it's much safer.

하지만 하늘엔 넓고 빈 공간이 있으니까 더 안전합니다.

I don't need to worry about accidents. 교통사고를 걱정할 필요가 없죠.

 

If I could fly, I wouldn't have to worry about money for the bus or subway.

만약 내가 날 수 있다면, 버스나 지하철 요금을 걱정할 필요가 없을 거예요.

Also I wouldn't pollute the air. 또한 공기를 오염시키지 않을 거고요.

 

The only problem would be is if it rained. 오직 비가 내릴 때가 걱정이죠.

But if I fly high enough, 하지만 충분히 높이 날 수 있다면,

I could fly above the cloud like airplanes. 비행기처럼 구름위로 날 수 있을 겁니다.

Then I wouldn't get wet from the rain. 그러면 비에 젖지 않을 거예요.

And even if I do, 설령 젖더라도,

I could really fly fast and dry off quickly. 아주 빨리 날면 금새 마를 거예요.

 

If I could fly, 내가 날 수 있다면

I could also help save people. 사람들을 구조하는 것도 도울 수 있을 거예요.

I could save people from a burning building. 불이 난 건물에서 사람들을 구할 수 있겠죠.

I could also help rescue cats in trees. 또한 나무 위의 고양이도 구할 수 있을 겁니다.

I could even wash the windows of a skyscraper. 초고층 빌딩의 유리창도 닦을 수 있을 테고요.

 

Sometimes 때때로

I dream about flying to different countries and meeting other people.

나는 여러 나라들을 날아다니며 다른 사람들을 만나는 걸 꿈꿉니다.

Flying without a plane 비행기를 타지 않고 날아가는 건

would be the best and safest way to travel. 최고로 안전하게 여행하는 방법일 거예요.

Maybe 언젠가는

someday humans will be able to fly like Superman. 사람들이 슈퍼맨처럼 날 수 있을지 모르죠.

As for now, 지금으로선

I'll just use my feet to go places. 여기저기를 걸어다니는 수밖에요.
