I am going to talk about insecs.

Insects are the largest group of animals on Earth.

About 1 million species of insects

have been discovered so far.

It is estimated that the total number of species range

from 2 million to 30 million.

Most of the insects have 6 legs and wings.

Insects have an exoskeleton.

The body of an insect has 3 main parts.

Head, thorax, and an abdomen.

Insect heads have compound eyes,

two antennae, and a mouth.

On the thorax, insects have wings and legs.

The abdomen is the back part of the insect.

Inside the abdomen they have a stomach,

a heart, and an excretory system.

People who study insects are called entomologists.
