The Happy Three Brothers

 

There lives three borthers in a village.

Each of them had great treasures.

 

The eldest brother had a telescope.

One day, he was watching a faraway country through his telescope.

"The princess is ill ! Let's go and cure her!"

 

The second brother had a carpet.

 It could fly in the sky.

The three brothers took a carpet ride to the country.

 

They arrived at the palace.

"The one who cures the princess will marry her!" said the king.

The youngest brother had an apple.

It could cure any diease. He gave it to the princess.

 

The princess ate the apple.

The more she ate it, the more her face lit up.

Finally she was fully cured.

 

"Thank you, and I'm sorry. I've eaten up your apple..."

"Not at all. I'm glad you've got well."

"Thank you very much!" said the king.

But he was worried.

Because only one of them could marry the princess.

 

Then, one mimister said,

"Please choose the one who played the greatest role in curing the princess!"

 

"The eldest played the greatest role."

said another minister.

"He saw the princess through his telescope.

So they knew the princess was ill."

 

"The second brother played the greatest role," said another minister.

"His carpet allowed them to come here quickly."

"But the princess was cured after eating

the youngest brother's apple,"said another minister.

 

"I think the youngest played thegreatest role," said the king.

"The princess ate all og his apple. He gave her he had."

 

The princess and the youngest brother got married.

He got the most beautiful treasure in the world.
